and now, welcome to August’s Intuitive Forecast!
A few days before I recorded this reading, I had one of those moments when I realized something had changed. It was 8:30pm and the sky was… darkening?? “It’s not the height of summer anymore!” I thought, and with this realization came a slight sense of dread and relief.
While the intensity of summer has its fun moments, I experience a growing exhaustion from all the sun and disrupted schedules; although we have several more months of intense heat here in Durham, a part of me is embracing this feeling of winding things down and approaching the transition into fall.
So what do the cards have to say about all this? Our reading is uniquely interwoven, with our environment card from last month, the Ten of Pentacles, moving into our theme card position for August. We’re honing in on something! (And it’s still very busy IRL.)
Similarly, our opportunity card from last month, the Two of Wands, takes one step forward, transitioning into the Three of Wands. Growth is slow, steady, and actually quite impressive. We’re doing something right and it’s time to keep going.
